been ages since my last post i think, but what is one to do on a lonely morning like this?
1) Study
2) Not study.
I hav opted for the latter.

Currently I am pining for summer.  The smell of chlorine,  fresh cut grass. The sound of the lawn mower in the morning and porch doors slamming. the heat of hot tar and the cooling whoosh of an air conditioned store. drippy paddlepops and finding christmas beetles in the sand. eating watermelon  and mangoes and drinking dry soda ( i wish). listening to christmas music by august burns red hahaha

here are my major inspirations of the holidays

• tumblr. i unfollowed heaps of people from school with their #SWAG ,cos there is something UNINSPIRED (watch me sound like john waters) about hot chicks and fast cars and every picture with SUPREME overlayed on it. Also, i found this photographer called Henry Cooke, who is very nice and takes good photos. He's open about his camera techniques and settings, which is helpful and polite, and he doesn't consider himself a model either. Also, yep. He's another one from New Zealand. Why?!
• the summery vibes from UO and ROOKIE road trip with peachy and aqua and gold sequin collars
• THE SIMPSONS! they agree with me that sophia coppola movies barely move at all and are practically one long film still. but especially if you chuck elle fanning in there, it's a beautiful still thats perfect to paint
• being grounded and forced to watch things with my dad. So far he has made me watch Origin, the Coco Chanel movie, and this documentary about Hitler in an effort to get me more cultured. It's alright if i wasnt angry with him about grounding me.
• Turkish food. What lovely place mats! what rich flavours. Yoghurt dressing on everything yummm i like that stuff
