I hate reading dream scenes in books where you’re meant to note down the clever symbolism used, and remember it later for the plot twist. I hate the plot twists where it’s revealed person A and person B were actually THE SAME PERSON (so clever.) and that the person was suffering from Some Mental Thing. It’s annoying.
I actually did find it clever though when I first saw it in Hide and Seek, but it was probably because it was a Dakota movie and I’m a fan. She’s going to be in New Moon and I feel cheated of something.
