Ok, here's the answer:
Snails are shemales. Then they mate with whatever gender, get pregnant and LAY EGGS. They dig a hole, and LAY THEIR EGGS IN THEM.
That's right. Forget all your crazy theories that they split asexually from too much slime. That they are actually like hermit crabs and shed their shells on a regular basis.
It seems so obvious now, but I bet you did not know how snails reproduced. I just know I've been seeing disgusting snails and slugs everywhere and it's seriously messing with my mentality. I was picking a flower the other day, AND THERE WAS A FRIGGIN SLUG CURLED INSIDE. A SLUG.
