THINGS I LEARNT FROM POP CULTURE:
- The Ugly Truth? Where that guy was like: "Women aren't looking for true love, they're looking for a walking checklist." HE WAS RIGHT. You shouldn't have a list of things you're looking for, you should just have your true love.
- Family guy: Where Brian is dating this really dumb blonde chick who says she's a photographer. And Stewie is like: "Every hot girl who can aim a camera thinks she's a photographer. Oooooooh, you took a black-and-white picture of a lawn chair and its shadow and developed it at Save-On. You must be so brooding and deep”
There's this tiny decimal amount of people who are actually brooding and deep, but the rest are just trying to copy that vibe. Like those paintings that are just rectangles of paint, and you're like "What's so great about this? I could do that." And then you do that, but ITS NOT THE SAME. Because it's not about the rectangles, it's about the expression of harmony and mood.
But this actually raises another question - how do you know if you've got it? Do you have to wait for some guy with a major degree to tell you?
