Captures today's society so perfectly, everyone and their own idiosyncrasies. I loved the STEREOTYPES!
Like the Old guy with hot foreign wife 30 years his junior? (key word here: GOLD-DIGGER)
The producers are like GENIUS. She has a lingerie collection and rolls her 'r's. (Seriously, that is how legit her accent is) Gloria is honestly my favourite at the moment. And her son, MANNY. Him and his questionable sexual orientation is hilarious. And his thing with the coffee? So cute.
And there's the sweet gay couple with an adopted kid. Not just any adopted girl, but she's asian. Totally brangelina and madonna, and all those other somebodies who adopt kids from asian nations. It's like so 'in' to have adopted asian girls.
And of course, nobody can forget the very-americano style dysfunctional highschool sweetheart couple. With two and a half kids, no less. The husband thinks he's so hip and such a bigshot, and the wife just cleans up after him, shakes her head and sighs. She also gets into bitchfights. SO simpsons. I love it.
I havn't even gone through all of first season, yet I can foresee many days ahead cramming my assignments cos I've been too busy stuck on MODERN FAMILY.
Also, GOSSIPGIRL. Pssh I don't like any of the Nate pairings so fair. Especially the Catherine one, but obviously. Affair with older women, ew. Getting paid for it? Even worse.
I thought the best pairing was Dan and Serena, but they're over. Really, truly and sadly. Especially since the pairing I hated most was the Rufus and Lily one. That and Jenny and Nate.
Hey, anyone notice similarities between Sheldon from bigbangtheory and the autistic savant from Rain Man? They're both creatures of routine, highly neurotic and prone to nervous breakdown. They even have the same whiney nasal voice. They both suffer from aspergers.
