I love Christmas. At the start I was a bit annoyed how decorations and candy canes were already being sold even though it was only November, HOWEVER I'm glad because it makes everything seems closer. Christmas, I mean. I'm sort of freaking on how we are midway through our high school lives. I bet you on the other side of Christmas I'm going to have a fit or something and go into a Simpsons coma. Even though school sucks bad right now because it's so completely a waste of time, it's much less scary than HSC and I know I'm going to miss it heaps.
I'm not sure if I've already said this, but one of the best things about summer is that you wake up in the morning feeling awesome. But in winter, nobody even wants to wake up. People also drink alot of coke because of the genius coke ads (They and me too don't even know we're being brainwashed). We all have fun. It's not like we can't have fun every other day of the year, but it just seems more something to look forward to knowing there's a set time where everyone is forcefully cheerful.
I can hear the cicadas in the backyard!
p.s. it is also cherry and mango season. :D
