My Rant on Reports:
Reports are completely effed up and are a lie, I kid you not. You could try hard on your assignments and get 85+% for the test, and get a B. You could not do the assignments and get 53% for the test, and still get a B.
Which clearly shows that the teacher has abandoned the subtlety and is just blatantly using placeholders and the ctrlA-ctrlC-ctrlV manoeuvre and should be struck down by a lightning bolt or something for not taking advantage of the godsent that is instant coffee.
But my parents, they thoroughly analyse my entire report. Once with me. Then again in the parent teacher interviews. Which are 5 minutes long. 5. Really, in that 5 minutes the teacher can go over my report and diagnose exactly what's wrong with me? In that 5 minutes I'd be guaranteed to succeed next term? If there was something wrong with me, they'll request a private interview! What COULD the teachers possibly say about me anyways? Anything special they could've would've should've BUT DIDN'T mention in the reports!
Ok, I'm worried. But they not only gave us a note, they also texted and wrote the date of it on the report.
