I watched the Titanic a couple of weeks ago, and forgot all about it until today when our teacher mentioned Romeo and Juliet. And I was thinking, hey Leonardo Decaprio is in that! And then I thought of Titanic, and I was thinking, poor guy, dying all the time.
And then I remembered, theres this one part in the Titanic that is seriously messed up and annoys me everytime. You know at the end, where Jack and Rose are clinging to that piece of wood in the middle of the pacific? (She was totally hogging the wood, but I guess thats okay seeing how she gave up her lifeboat spot for him)
Leon (Leon sounds so much cooler than Leonardo) was like "Promise me you'll live through this".
And she replied with: "Yes, I promise". And so that was that.
What the hell???
What about, "Oh yes Jack, you too! Promise me you'll live through this too!". Oh, no, after risking her life for him and everything, she doesnt care enough to say that back?
Haha yes I am picky about this sort of thing.
Anyway, I watched Rain Man, and I have got to say, it's one of my favourite movies, because of the storyline. This makes it opposite to Avatar, which is one of my favourite because of the effects, but the storyline was LAME AS. The wikipedia article on Rain Man just does not do it justice. I won't start ranting on about it though, incase I spoil it for you. Because I want you to go see for yourself. Its just...awesome.
On a different note, I am leaving for Japan in 3 days!I can't believe I let myself forget that! I am so excited, I love being a tourist! and going SHOPPING!!!
Let the countdown begin!!
